What is solid wood?
Solid wood consists entirely of wood and is therefore very strong. The solid wood is easy to color, which means that almost any color is possible. In addition, imperfections such as minor damage and stains can easily be repaired with the right product. However, solid wood is sensitive to sunlight and poor humidity. It will then shrink or expand, which can cause wood to deform or even crack.
What is sheet material?
Plate material are boards made up of an odd number of wood veneer layers. These veneer layers are glued together crosswise. There are many types and types of wood-based panel materials on the market in the Netherlands. We then speak of plywood and/or plywood. These are used in many different sectors, such as construction, furniture industry, carpentry and shipbuilding.
