I wouldn’t be if it was just one hobby. Not even 2 or 3, I think I have about 10 different (or even more) hobbies.
And everyone knows, hobbies cost money. So what do you do to reduce costs if you want to do a lot and need a lot of material for that? That’s right, looking for a cheap alternative that is still good.
That’s how I got to know AliExpress (do you understand the link with the title 😉 ) Ali is a super nice store if you know where and how to look.
For my birthday, I went to the nail stylist. €35 for gelish, another €1 per nail for nail art (and you’ll never guess, they came from Ali). In any case, after just one day a piece of my nail was missing. I had them repaired and had them redone 2 weeks later because they had grown out. Before you know it, you will have lost around 100 euros in 2 months. So I thought to myself, I should be able to do this myself.
This is how a new hobby started…
A few months later, a nail set with lamp was for sale in Lidl. I went to get it with great enthusiasm, only to come to the conclusion that there wasn’t really anything in it. Yes, many products, but not the right ones for what I wanted to do. I want nail art and colors, I want happy fingers.
So I started surfing on Ali, I had known him for a long time from all his other creative excesses. So you can find a lot there. You can do a lot for a fraction of the amount you spend on the nail stylist. But of course pay close attention to what you buy and read all reviews carefully.
11 November I completely let myself go. I have bought a whole arsenal of things, more than half of which has not yet been delivered. Yes, you really have to be patient with Ali. 2 weeks is really the fastest delivery time for the average order.
I want to write a review here of every product and device that I bought on Ali. This way you know what I like and don’t like. That might also be a decision aid for you. And of course I will continue to make step-by-step plans and write stories about what I make.
