Hey,

sewing has been quiet for a while (a week) with the preparations for my daughter’s birthday party. HIP HIP HOORAY 3 years 🙂

And yes, baked a lot of cakes and cleaned and tidied up, so little time to spend on sewing.

We are going to change that now.

I recently started again with the leftovers from the crib lining to make a swaddling blanket for my future son. I haven’t gotten very far yet, read: ” printing, joining and cutting out the pattern and most of the fabric has also been cut. So I haven’t really done much sewing yet.

I use cotton for the outside, molton (high absorption) for the inside and the thinnest (6mm) cotton wool as interlining and insulation.

I don’t really know how I’m going to do the finishing yet. With press studs or velcro and with or without piping/bias. So I haven’t really decided yet.

In any case, here are a few pictures from the beginning 🙂

If you are looking for the pattern, I can help you here .

Hopefully see you soon with the continuation of this 🙂
