Hello and welcome to my new address,
For those who don’t know me yet, let me introduce myself, I am a part-time (only since January 2020) working mother of 2 children. Before this I always worked full-time, but I no longer found this feasible. After much thought, I made the decision to work 4/5ths and start a new site. I have also rehoused the posts from my old blog here.
I really enjoy being creative, this relaxes me and gives me new energy. Besides sewing, for which I originally started this blog, I have many other hobbies, my husband says way too many. But in my opinion that means that I have more than enough variety. An annoying side effect of so many hobbies is that you often don’t have enough time to do everything.
I draw, craft, paint, sew, bake cakes, make jewelry, embroider, do nail art and resin art and have a vegetable garden. I’m probably overlooking some things. Of course I can’t do everything at once, and it might be better to concentrate on one hobby, but yeah, that’s not how I am wired. I like many things at the same time and would just like to be able to do everything. My dream is to one day have a hobby shop where I can share everything with everyone. Where everyone can get great ideas, but that is not yet the case.
I do my best to post a new message every week. If no messages appear for a while, it’s because I’m a little too busy. Especially now with all the innovations in education, the workplace is very busy. Hence the decision to work 4/5ths.
