Sewing has been on hold for a while with preparations for my daughter’s birthday party — HIP HIP HOORAY 3 years! 🙂 Lots of cakes baked, cleaned and tidied up, so little time for sewing.

We are going to change that now! I started a wrap blanket for my future son, with the leftovers from the crib lining. I haven’t gotten far yet — the pattern has been printed, pieced together, and most of the fabric has been cut. So not much has been done about sewing yet.

Materials

  • Outer fabric: cotton (light blue with star print)
  • Inner fabric: molton (high absorption rate)
  • Interlining: cotton wool (6mm, thinnest type)

I’m not sure yet about the finish — with press studs or velcro, and with or without piping/bias. I haven’t decided yet. But here are a few pictures from the beginning!

Are you looking for the pattern? I can help you here.
